Hardware Reference

The hardware reference covers the board itself: what the DEEPX NPU is rated for, how the Expansion Board mounts under the Raspberry Pi 5, and the electrical and mechanical limits that apply to an integration.

• Specifications — DEEPX DX-M1 AI module, the PCIe link to the NPU, the three M.2 slots, USB-C PD power budget, LED behavior, cooling, mechanical dimensions, and compliance status.
• Pinout & GPIO — the pogo-pin power map, why no GPIO pins are consumed, the PCIe FFC link (Gen 3 x1 supported but disabled by default on Raspberry Pi 5), per-pin electrical limits, and HAT stacking rules.
