Choose your SIM

Where will your device run? If it stays in a region ProSIM covers, choose ProSIM. It has a lower monthly fee, lower per-MB rates and 99.9% uptime. If it runs anywhere else or moves between regions, choose SuperSIM.

ProSIM Europe countries: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Switzerland and Cyprus: ProSIM also works in these two countries, on pay-as-you-go only ($0.02/MB). Data Pools are not available there.

ProSIM vs SuperSIM

Physical SIM and eSIM

Each SIM is available in two forms. Plans and prices are the same either way.

Buy and activate an eSIM

Pro eSIM and Super eSIM are bought in Sixfab Connect. The $3 price of each eSIM is charged from your account balance.

1. Log in to connect.sixfab.com.
2. Navigate to "Assets" from the side menu and click the "Buy eSIM" button in the top menu within the page.

3. Select the eSIM type. Pro eSIM is recommended for the regions listed in Choose your SIM, and Super eSIM is recommended for global roaming.
4. Enter the quantity (up to 50 eSIMs per order). The unit price, total, your balance and the balance after the purchase are shown below.
5. Click the "Buy Pro eSIM" or "Buy Super eSIM" button.

6. Your eSIM is listed with its ICCID and the status "Ready". Use "Show QR Code" or "Copy Activation Code" to get the activation details. To keep a list of your new eSIMs, click "Download as CSV". Then click "Done".

7. On your device, scan the QR code or enter the activation code to download the eSIM profile.
8. Go to Asset details of the eSIM and turn on the "Active" switch. A new eSIM is inactive until you do this.

You can find the QR code and the activation code again at any time. Go to Assets, open the eSIM and look for the eSIM Activation box in Asset details.

Note: The eSIM profile can be downloaded only once.

Like any other SIM, the status, name and Network Group of the eSIM can be changed in the preferences of Asset details.

Register & Management

These registration steps apply to physical ProSIM and SuperSIM cards. For eSIMs, follow Buy and activate an eSIM.

1. Log in to connect.sixfab.com.
2. Navigate to "Assets" from the side menu and Click the "Register Asset" button in the top menu within the page.

3. Enter the ICCID and click "Register" button.

From the Assets page, go to Asset details. The SIM status, name and Network Group (Previously named as Fleet) (Data Limit) can be changed in the preferences.

How does your charging works?

Credit card is entered for payment, minimum balance threshold and auto charge amount are set. Then, as the balance falls below the minimum limit, money equal to the loading limit from the card is charged to the balance. All pay as you go (PAYG) consumptions, data pool plan fees and monthly fees are charged from the balance, and are not charged from the credit card.

Summary of the cost of the Sixfab SIM (ProSIM and SuperSIM):

• The cost of a SIM card is $3, for both ProSIM and SuperSIM. An eSIM profile costs $3 as well.

• There are two ways to be charged: Pay as you go (PAYG) or Data Pool Plan (DPP). The default plan is PAYG.

• With PAYG, you pay for the data you use. ProSIM data is charged per MB by plan: USA $0.03/MB, Europe $0.02/MB and Multi Country $0.05/MB. In Switzerland and Cyprus, ProSIM is available on PAYG only, at $0.02/MB (Data Pools are not available there). SuperSIM rates start at $0.10/MB in most countries and vary by network. • With Data Pool Plan, you pay a monthly fee for a data pool, and then each SIM card in your account can use data from that pool. The cost of the data pool varies depending on the region and volume of data you need.

• The data in a Data Pool Plan can be shared among the SIM cards in your account.

• Each Data Pool Plan has a validity of 30 days, or it may expire sooner if you use up all of the data in the pool.

• If you are subscribed to a Data Pool Plan, it will automatically renew when it expires. If you are not subscribed to a Data Pool Plan, your SIM cards will be charged according to the PAYG rates when the Data Pool Plan expires.

• SIM cards and eSIMs can be managed from the Sixfab Connect Platform. For each active SIM, you are charged $1 per month (ProSIM or Pro eSIM) or $2 per month (SuperSIM or Super eSIM), whether it is used or not. This active SIM fee applies to both PAYG and Data Pool Plans.

• The Sixfab Connect Platform works on a prepaid basis. You need to add a balance to your account before you can use it. The balance has a minimum threshold amount. If the balance falls below the minimum threshold, it will automatically be topped up from your credit card. The amount that is automatically topped up is called the Auto Charge Amount, and it must be at least $10.

In summary, the cost of the Sixfab SIM (ProSIM or SuperSIM) depends on how you use it. If you use a lot of data, a Data Pool Plan may be a better option for you. If you only use a small amount of data, the PAYG plan may be a better option. You can also use a combination of the two plans.

FAQ

Which SIM should I choose?

Use ProSIM USA for the United States, ProSIM Europe for Europe, and ProSIM Multi Country for Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Taiwan. Use SuperSIM Global Roaming for any other country or for devices that travel between regions. See Choose your SIM.

Physical SIM or eSIM?

The plans and prices are the same. ProSIM and SuperSIM are physical cards from the Sixfab Store. Pro eSIM and Super eSIM are digital profiles that you activate in Sixfab Connect. See Physical SIM and eSIM.

How to get details of API? How to reach the API?

Does it support 5G?

It depends on the SIM. ProSIM and Pro eSIM support 5G wherever the carrier network offers it; devices fall back to LTE elsewhere. SuperSIM and Super eSIM do not support 5G or NB-IoT.

Are data limits monthly?

Yes, the limits shown in the Network Group section (previously named Fleet) of your asset preferences are applied monthly. If you exceed these limits, your connection will be disconnected. The data limit option limits your monthly SIM data usage to prevent unexpected costs.

Does Sixfab SIM support voice calls, SMS or static IP?

Sixfab SIM (ProSIM and SuperSIM, physical SIM and eSIM) does not support voice calls, SMS or static IP.

What information is stored on a SIM card?

A SIM card mainly stores carrier credentials in the form of a unique identifier called the ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identifier), an IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) and an authentication key that validates the IMSI toward the mobile carrier.

How can I transfer an SIM to different account?

Send a request email from the asset owner's email to [email protected]. Please include your asset information and the email address registered on the Sixfab Connect Platform to which you intend to transfer the asset.
